Naturalized US citizens are reporting that the DHS website is listing them as “not a citizen”.
From Funmilayo Celestina Ekundayo:
So i just got this message when i attempted to update my voter registration.
This is a lie. I became a naturalized citizen in 2005. Drove all the way to Memphis Tennessee for the ceremony.
I have voted in 2 elections; i have an American passport I’ve traveled with, and i have gone to the Department of safety and homeland security to update all information, last time i did was 2 years ago when i needed a copy of my social security card.
So, a warning to all naturalized citizens inTennessee , check your status now!!

Something is happening.
*update*
I have confirmed others that are having this issue. Folks, this is Not a drill!!
Check your statuses.
*update 2*
Still trying to find answers. After calling the Department of homeland security and safety, i was told by the representative that he didn’t know what was happening and would like to refer me to an “immigration officer”. The wait time is 57 minutes. The office closed in 17 minutes.
I will try again on Monday.
Until then, i am taking my passport with me Everywhere!! EVERYWHERE!!!This is not a drill.
Ugh, I can’t even help by checking cause I’m just a resident and my new card was delayed by 18 months from all the fucking nonsense that is going on in the world.

The US state of Tennessee is currently trying to implement a coercive sterilization program in their prisons by slightly reducing the sentence of inmates who agree to a vasectomy/4 yr bc implant. Warn everyone you can about this, it is the continuation of eugenics in the US as prison populations are disproportionately PoC, disabled/mentally ill and poor and these groups constantly receive longer sentencing than the white, able/neurotypical and wealthy for the same conviction. RESIST!
In a return to coercive sterilization policies from the early 20th century, a judge in White County, Tennessee, is providing inmates 30 days credit toward jail time if they undergo a sterilization or contraception procedure.
General Sessions Judge Sam Benningfield signed a standing order on May 15, 2017, providing that men who undergo a vasectomy, and women who have a long-term contraceptive implanted in their arms, will get 30 days off their jail sentence. Both procedures are to be performed by the Tennessee Department of Health. State health officials have reported an increase in crimes involving opioid pain pills and heroin in recent years, especially in rural communities like White County.
First elected in 1988, the judge said he decided to implement the program to help people with convictions “start thinking about taking responsibility for themselves.” In an interview with WTVF, he explained, “I hope to encourage them at some point finally to take, you know, personal responsibility and to give them a chance, if/when they do get out, not to be burdened again with additional children.”
