I love that Ubisoft’s response to the racist white man pain mess that was Watch Dogs was by giving WD2 a black male lead. But then when racists got angry, Ubisoft put wearable blm merch in-game, added playable buff female characters and black vikings to For Honor, diversified their roster in Rainbow Six Siege, made their newest Assassin’s Creed games take place in China and Egypt, and made Far Cry 5 be about beating up white supremacists.

Conspiracy Theory: Ubisoft Was Killed And Replaced By A Look Alike

Whatever demons Ubisoft inhabited exited into Bioware.

#ubi 3 years ago: how do i animate a fucking woman

#ubi now: r e v o l u t i o n

Yo, I’ve got a really good female friend who works for Ubisoft. Instead of acting like it’s witchcraft that Ubi’s changing it’s tune, you can thank the women and other minorities working inside gaming companies that endure being called names by all of you lot AND being treated like crap by their own coworkers and still keep persistently trying to push for change inside their company.

They work tirelessly despite getting shit from absolutely everyone, gamers, co-workers and internet trolls alike.

THIS IS WHY HIRING DIVERSELY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS PUTTING DIVERSITY INSIDE THE GAMES

‘Many of the books that did feature Asian children were centered around cultural themes like Chinatown, Chinese New Year, or Chinese characters—which was great, but I was really looking for books that followed just the story about a really cool and awesome child that just happened to be Asian,’ Zhang explained in a video about his project.

The drag queen from this photo has spoken up about the photo.

I won’t speak for all liberals, but I’d like to see a future where it isn’t a big deal for a woman in full modesty garb to sit next to a drag queen in NYC. It’s become a bit of a sensation, but her and I were just existing. The freedom to simply be yourself in a sea of people who aren’t like you is a freedom we all deserve.

The central irony is that this isn’t some hypothetical future–it’s just present day reality. This is a picture of two ordinary people going about their normal lives despite how haters want to politicize it lmao. So the underlying message is not “future liberals want” it’s “people conservatives want to eradicate”

Julia, a Muppet with autism, makes her debut appearance on Sesame Street

“She does things just a little differently, in a…Julia sort of way.”

It’s great that Sesame Street has designed a character with autism. I think the character will help kids understand autism in a better way and encourage acceptance. Adults can try and explain things like autism to a child, but it can be difficult. I grew up with Sesame Street, I’m glad the show is still helping kids learn and grow!

Media representation always matters, thank you Sesame Street for still teaching us.
