The thing I hate most about working customer service is the fact that my friends who don’t deal with the public have NO IDEA how emotionally exhausting it is.
They ask me to go out after work and I..just can’t.
And they just don’t get it. I’m TIRED. I’ve been fake smiling and laughing all day. I’ve been apologizing to screaming guests about things out of my control. I’ve been answering the phone.
Anything having to do with other human beings will have to wait till my days off.
