Dude, keep up the good work! It was the inclusiveness and ability to be normalized from the trans and lesbian community unique to this site that helped me become who I am and not get beaten down by my internalized transphobia and social lack of visibility. I can’t help but feel personally attacked by staff using cp as an excuse to target the LGBT under the guise of “accidentally” tagging their posts. We need more cis, rich, white men like you to help us get on the exclusive platform of equality.

I’m doing my best to fight for you, but what’s important to me is knowing that you found a place that helped you become who you are, who you have always been, so that you can live your best life. I see you and I love you.

We at Piczel.tv are sad to see Tumblr’s stance against NSFW artists, and would like to offer up our services as an alternative to Tumblr’s arbitrary shadowbans, deletions, and general stupidity.

We’re happy to host adult artists who are looking for a new place to call home, and are planning a few key upgrades and features.

Effectively immediately though, our gallery upload size restriction has been removed, to be likely raised to 10MB in the near future for non-premium users.

As always, we support image sets, and don’t compress anything.

Firstly, for those that have been using tumblr as a portfolio, you’ll need a way to download all of your art, if you don’t have backups somewhere else. We are planning a tool for Piczel.tv that will import zip files full of images, including titles and descriptions if we are able.

Second, we’re planning the following upgrades to piczel in the coming weeks:

1. Bulk upload/import to your piczel.tv gallery
2. Gallery UI cleanup and improvements
3. Gallery performance improvements
4. Gallery comments with in line image and custom emote support
5. Site-wide PMs (in the vein of tumblr asks, but better)
6. Archive button for your piczel account

Don’t forget to follow us on twitter, we may be deleted on the 17th with everyone else. Until then, we’ll make posts here to keep everyone in the loop

Please consider reblogging this to help artists in need.

OwO what’s this

Im liking the sound of this a lot!

Might check this out

Tumblr is my home and I’m really bothered right now. I love the communities we’ve created. I love the support I’ve found from other fans and artists. I post a lot of nsfw images because they inspire my writing or I find them beautiful.

I will likely maintain my blog and post content that is within the new user policies. A lot of what I post these days is a mix of political and fiction anyway.

I am beltainefaerie everywhere else you can find me.

I have a discord, (but I am rarely on it.)

I’ve tried twitter (and I find the format challenging).

I have a facebook, but that is where my family hang out so cannot merge with the aspects of myself I show in fandom.

My AO3 is usually where I post fic anyway, but as long as they let me link it here I’ll keep doing that.

You can also email me at beltainefaerie@gmail.com. Just copy and paste. No one can ever spell it. (Sorry for picking something so complicated as my consistent handle.)

so we have a conversational safeword in my group of friends and it’s great, idk why more people don’t do this. whenever someone wants a subject to be dropped immediately no questions asked we just say “spleen” and we stop immediately and it’s a really good way to avoid crossing the line between teasing friends and genuinely upsetting them by accident, or stopping debates from turning into actual arguments

Wait but no this is actually a brilliant idea.

When I was a little baby high school student, I used to do the Living Chessboard at our local Renaissance Faire. We always used “forsooth” to indicate if someone was actually injured and needed to quickly end a choreographed fight. It was also very useful when doing little street improvisations because if someone tried to stop you, you could say “forsooth good sir, I must leave.” and they knew you couldn’t do a scene right then. We all used it in real life too, to say “no really” and it was amazing because there was a word used in a casual setting that meant “I’m not playing, I need you do listen to me.” So if someone tried to pick me up or tickle me, I could say “forsooth stop.” And I was instantly obeyed. I had “forsooth” long before I learned what a safeword was, and having a non-sexual safeword for everyday use amongst a circle of friends was the best thing ever. It made me feel very safe and listened to, even as a tiny 14 year old. Because let’s be honest, 14 year old me was teeny tiny and adorable and it’s easy to coo at kids when they say “no don’t pick me up!” but to have a word that every single person respected to mean “whatever I say after this MUST be listened to” was amazing. It gave me a definitive voice when it would have been easy to dismiss me.

So basically having platonic safewords is awesome and I’m all for it.

The Bechdel:

two or more women talking to each other about something other than a man

The Mako Mori:

at least one female character with her own narrative arc that is not about supporting a man’s story

The Sexy Lamp:

a female character that cannot be removed from the plot and replaced with a sexy lamp without destroying the story.

Chef’s Specials:

The Anti-Freeze:

no woman assaulted, injured or killed to further the story of another character.

The “Strength is Relative”:

complex women defined by solid characterization rather than a handful of underdeveloped masculine-coded stereotypes.

Furiosa test.

^^

“Ghostbusters” blows all of these tests completely out of the water.

And generates at least one that I think ought to be added:

The Pizza Night Test

Women are shown eating non-salad food and no comment is made about anyone getting fat or breaking their diet.

I love everyone in this bar.

ALWAYS reblog!!!
