This idea is so brilliant that I’m stealing it.

@conversationswithjohnlock  has offered to bid on behalf of someone in the Sherlock fandom who doesn’t have the funds to bid in the @fandomtrumpshate auction.  I would like to do the same.

So here’s how it works:  

If you would like to bid, but are unable to do so, send me an ask or a message. On Saturday, January 13 at about 7:00 p.m PST, I will choose one person at random.  I will contact that person (keep your lines of communication open!) That person will place a bid for any Sherlock-related fic or art or whatever, and  I will cover that bid up to a total of $50.

I won’t tell anyone who you are except the FTH people, who will need to see my proof of donation.

I know that $50 isn’t a lot, but there’re still creators with no bids at all.

@conversationswithjohnlock , I hope you don’t mind, but I see this as a win for absolutely everybody.

As of now (Friday evening) I have had no takers on this offer, in case you were considering it.

And there are still a lot of good creators with surprisingly low bids.

@imnova I’m looking at you! And anyone else out there who’s been wanting to get involved with this auction, but just can’t spare the funds right now. This is a generous offer, for a good cause. You’re actually helping people out if you take @bluebellofbakerstreet up on it!
