And the parachute thing was the best

@merindab oh my god, the parachute thing… I never understood why we were doing that. Like, to prepare us for setting up the big top in our future lives as carnival roustabouts? Clearly the square dancing was so we would have organized social activities for after the carnival closed for the night.

As a kid I loved the parachute, but didn’t know what the heck it was for. As a teacher I finally get that everyone has to work together or it won’t do whatever it is supposed to. That said,  I like @savvyblunders explanation better. Point me to the carnival!
